I'd like to think of myself as a Cat Aficionado. I started cat-sitting in 2007. I've had all kinds of animals in my life; cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, bunnies, turtles but I've always had a special place in my heart for cats, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas and Eskies. I've also worked for different types of vet practices as well. Arlington Cat Clinic (a Cat only practice) IPC in Hanover Park (Rehabilitation for Animals), Animal Medical of St. Charles (an Orthopedic doctor), Lap of Love (an in-home euthanasia practice) and currently at Radiocat (a specialty clinic for hyperthyroid cats in Arlington Heights).
I am extremely reliable, responsible and trustworthy. I take pride in my work. I understand that all cats have unique personalities and I am very detailed- oriented, so as to make your cat very happy while in my care. I also have a few dog clients that I take care of on a regular basis.
I offer daily visits and overnight stays in your home.
Cats do so much better if they are in their own home while you are away. I have done the research and found that my prices for daily visits or overnight stays are considerably lower than boarding them in a kennel (a steel cage that just fits their litter box, food, water, and maybe a bed).
Here is a breakdown of costs form local boarding facilities.
1. **Basic Boarding Fees:**
- $50.00 for 1 cat
- $43.00 for an additional cat in the same cage
2. **Additional Services:**
- Playtime: $15.00
- Updates and pictures: $6.00
3. **Deposits and Cancellations:**
- $100.00 deposit
- 10-day cancellation notice required
4. **Medical Boarding:**
- Starts at $50.00 per night for cats with medical needs
